Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media and Web Links

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with and where it is sent

We only use your personal information to provide you Peace Through Grace services/products or to communicate with you about the services/products or the Website.

If you purchase from us or download a free product/service we will automatically opt you in for newsletters (we never spam anyone) you can opt out at any time at the bottom of the newsletters we send out. Click unsubscribe. 

We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:

– doing so is appropriate to carry out your own request;
– we believe it’s needed to enforce our Terms of Service, or that is legally required;
– we believe it’s needed to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues;
– otherwise protect our property, legal rights, or that of others.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Peace Through Grace may contact you, by email or other means. For example, Peace Through Grace may send you promotional emails relating to Peace Through Grace or other third parties Peace Through Grace feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the Peace Through Grace website. If you do not want to receive emails from Peace Through Grace, please opt out of receiving emails at the bottom of any Peace Through Grace emails.

Peace Through Grace is strongly opposed to spam. We will NOT spam you, we do not send out more than one e-mail newsletter a week.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Children’s Information


Peace Through Grace does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, please do not submit any Personal Data through the Website. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Data on the Website without their permission. If a parent or guardian believes that Peace Through Grace has personally identifiable information of a child under the age of 16 in its database, please contact us immediately at hello@peacethroughgrace.com and we will use our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

The Website may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for us to make changes to this Privacy Policy. At minimum, we will update this Privacy Policy once per year.
